I would check your brake master, then your servo,air tank,sounds like a stuck valve on the air tank perhaps or master has gone south. Be glad it's not a bloody water pump.

I had trouble once with the hand brake not fully releasing. The brakes stayed in contact with the rear rotors and as I drove, the rotar got hotter and the brakes drug even more. It wasn't until I dropped the rear end of the car that I could see what was going on. Could have saved myself a heck of a lot of work had I know to check there first.
