The guy that owns the body shop is a member of my flying club so I probably got a special deal. I am selling my 84 VDP and it also needs a paint job. He said he could do a "cheap" paint job on it for about $650. I'm asking $2000 for it. Here's the ebay link:

Acrylic Urethane paint. They are also going to paint the taillights and rear fog lights with special black paint to cover the minor cracks saving me replacement costs, and 4 coats of special clear coat with lifetime guarantee. Total coat including lights $1050. Keep in mind the car needs no body work, only wet sanding and other prep. Total time about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks.
