Re.: Paint job
The guy that owns the body shop is a member of my flying club so I probably got a special deal. I am selling my 84 VDP and it also needs a paint job. He said he could do a "cheap" paint job on it for about $650. I'm asking $2000 for it.

Re.: Paint job
Acrylic Urethane paint. They are also going to paint the taillights and rear fog lights with special black paint to cover the minor cracks saving me replacement costs, and 4 coats of special clear coat with lifetime guarantee. Total coat including lights $1050. Keep in mind the car needs no body work, only wet sanding and other prep. Total time about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks.
