here i am again car will not crank replaced starter relay and the car started for about 1 week and it would not crank again went and played with the micro switchs in the gear shift thats tells the car that it is in nuetual or park and it started again it ran fine for about another week or two and now it will not crank again do think the switchs are bad and if so how hard will it be to get to them and how would i do that you can read what i did on the another posting

thanks george thats was it the engine stap connection to the relay i still have to claen it up all i did was pull and push on the conection and it worked i will join the assoc this evening after supper tks

Then go to the starter relay and by pass the Park/ neutral switches and try it! If it is the switch the car will fire up!

Bob before you go digging please check the engine snap connection to the relay (Red and White Wire) above the rear of the engine. Trace it from the relay or starter but when you find the connection make sure it is clean and tight!

does the solenoid or relay click when you turn the key, is the battery fully charged, do you have full power at the starter from the heavy wire coming down to it from the firewall behind Bank A...... .Art
