I recently purchased a jaguar key fob off of Ebay to go to my car since the original was lost from a previous owner, but the instructions for reprogramming does not work for my car. I need some help reprogramming the new key fob. The car does have a valet switch in the truck. Any suggestions?

Thanks everyone for the help. I contacted the dealership in Knoxville and they do still work on the old jags. The Chattanooga dealership will not touch it.

Alas, the 1995-1996 XJS has no manual programming method. They have to be programmed by the dealer diagnostic equipment. I have heard that there might POSSIBLY be an aftermarket diagnostic device that could do it, but I am not yet familiar with one that can.

Art, are you giving her the BOOT! Linda, go back on line and ask the seller if they have instructions, they usually do. You are going to discover very ssoon that the Hood is the Bonnet and the Trunk is the Boot.
