Cigarette lighter

I need to install a new cigarette lighter. Is it okay to go with a standard replacement cigarette lighter or do I need to go with a certain model?

I would need a cigarette lighter for my 1995 XJS Convertible. If you are sure it would fit my car, I will take it.
