Just brought my Jag home from the paint shop. Started it up, it ran for about 3 minutes, switched tanks to check levels, switched back to original tank and at the same time engine died. Now it won't start.

UPDATE:

1. Good fuel pressure
2. Good spark
3. Good 12v on NS on Air Flow Meter
4. Good 12v on KU of Air Flow Meter
5. Jumpered pin 2 to pin 5 of Diode Pack to make sure I didn't have a bad diode.

Still won't start. What else should I check?

All is well that ends well.

Rebuilt the injector wiring harness and still no luck.

Checked fuel and found both tanks had water and contamination.

Drained fuel tanks, added fresh fuel, started right up and ran smoothly.

The injectors are grounded by the ECU which, in turn, is grounded at the big bundle of black wires are the rear of the water rail....so give those a peek.

Check the white/black wire at the coil "-" post...it's the trigger wire to the ECU. The ECU won't even get up outta bed until it gets a signal from the white/black wire :-)

Ok George, here's the latest.

When cranking fuel pressure initially peaks at 60 to 70 psi and then settles
down to 36 psi. When turned off, and it been off for over 15 minutes, fuel
pressure holding at 34 psi.

Testing injectors Noid lites stay dark when ignition on or cranking. I have 12 volts on each
lead on injectors. If I test with digital volt meter I get .14 to .25 volts
across leads when cranking(should be close to 12 volts). Beginning to sound like ECU.

Rechecked fuel pressure after talking to George. I have great fuel FLOW when cranking but when I finish cranking and loosen fuel pressure regulator valve all I get is seepage, not much pressure. Ordered new FPR from Parts Geek. Will post results.
