Is the factory exhaust system stainless steel? Any HP to be gained by going with a Borla system or something similar?

Factory Exhaust System
Yessir, they thankfully made the SC 6 Cyl in '95. What a car! It may not keep up w/your XKR all the time, but it has plenty of scat. I still have to be careful when I look back to enter the highway, otherwise I'll run right up someones tailpipe. By far the most reliable car we have ever owned. Sixteen years and 122,000 miles and and to this day, when I sit in that seat and hit the gas, I feel like I'm driving a new $70K car.
Gee, what would I say if I actually liked the car??
Cheers,

Factory Exhaust System
Thanks Steven;
If it's stainless I won't bother changing anything.
Can't help noticing you have a 95 XJR; is that a supercharged six cylinder? If it is how does it perform? I didn't realize that made SC XJ6s.

Factory Exhaust System
To the best of my knowledge, all Jaguar exhaust has been stainless at least since the X300. Can't help you on the replacement systems.
Cheers,
...nice. The normal aspirated six moves very well with the Sport mode activated, so your SC must move swiftly. I like the SC better than turbo'd cars...more immediate.
Our XJ6 has run flawlessly, no issues other than normal wear and tear on brakes and tires. We just love the car. Had the opportunity to trade "up" to an 05 V8 but respectfully declined
