Does anyone know if it's legal to put a Chavy V8 in my 1993 XJS in Utah? I live in Davis county.

Why ruin a good car? A used or rebuilt 4.0 wouldn't be that expensive.
Steve - Thanks for the offer. I have decided to keep my 4.0. It's running rough right now. If I can't get that corrected and discover something seriously wrong, I just may make you an offer.
The engine runs rough in mid range - no problems at low and high RPM. I'm doing the seafoam thing and changing the plugs, wires, cap and rotor right now. The TB was very dirty, especially on the engine side. Any other suggestions?
