my brother has a 1994 xjs 6L thats needs rotors and pads what are the best ones to put on as close to orginal factory and shoud he use vented or non vented what type should he stay away fron and where would be the best place to get them tks for the help bob

If you are not into road racing, rallys or trips to the track, nobody has more interest in making your brakes smooth, quiet and long lasting than Jaguar. The orig equip part numbers are:

Front
JLM1510
JLM776

Rear
JLM1833
JLM12424

I would shop those part numbers around to some of the usual Jaguar parts suppliers.

That's my opinion........now here comes the onslaught!
