Just completed a very long restoration on this car and when we put the wheels back on, the car is sitting 3-4 inches too high in the back. The only change I made to the rear end was 4 new Koni shocks. I can't see any adjustments and it has me baffled.
All suggestions are welcome,
Thanks,

I have a 1964 FHC E typeam and I am in the process of changing my rear springs as I have the same problem. My problem was caused by me putting heavy duty springs on to replace my sagging originals. These heavy duty springs don't even compress at all even with full car weight. I suspect these might be for a series 3 but who knows.

Any chance your springs were replaced as well? Good Luck.

The rear end was worked on while it was off the car by one guy, then it was bolted to the car as a complete unit by another man.
I'll have a look at the small end bushings, Thanks.
The shocks were the right ones according to SNG Barratt.
