Guys,

My "new" car came with the visors in the trunk. All four of the arms seem to be in good shape. I have studied all the good pictures I could find on the web but none show the correct mounting of the window shield posts. The mirror mounts and screws I understand. I hate to admit this but the outboard mounts are confusing me. I could sure use a couple of good close up pictures. Are there spacers and long screws missing???

I am new to the club so I hope I am posting this in the correct forum.
Thanks for any and all help.

Phil Wood

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the help.

George, I just joined and have not received a card or magazine. The reason I asked is I want to order the Heritage Certificate and I need the number. I will just wait until I receive one of these two items.

Pat. Thank you very much wit your pictures and Georges description I now think I can put them on.

I will let you know how it work outs.

Phil I do not know what literature you have--I will tell you it is very doubtful that the visors are correct. Unless things have changed all reproductions are for a V 12 and are smaller than the Series 2 car.

Thanks George. Does that mean I must remove the corner top latch cap to mount the bracket. That makes sense to me, so I guess the previous owner took the visors off and then replaced the corner top latch cap ???

George is there site where I can go to see pictures of the setup?

This may be outside of your normal question but where do I find my JCNA member number?

Hi Pat,

Thanks for your offer however, my car is a series 2. That said, if you don't mind I would like to see how yours works so maybe I can figure this thing out !

Regards,
Phil
