Hi. I posted this on the pre XK forum and should have put it here.I have a MKVII that I think is a early 1951.I got this car without a title or the runnning gear. The car has trafficator signals. These are the numbers I can find. Chassis # 732969, body # Loo7338, eng.# A7383-8,trans # osl4513A
Is it a 1951 or later?I aquired a title and number plate for a 53 and have a engine and trans from another car around the same year. Thanks for your help.

MKVII question
Hi Jim,Thanks for your reply.Unfortunately my MKVII is a project car waiting to be restored and still in the same condition that I got it in.The others are also projects and unrstored.I just bought the kit car replica for my wife and am going to try and get it road ready as fast as I can so she can drive it.I have several non Jag cars and belong to our local club here in Hvl.N.C.(charter member) I am unable,at this time to take on any more but would consider membership in your club at some future time. {If I live long enough at this stage of the game!} My email is.............folsmonthughes.net Thanks again.Best regards,Marc

MKVII question

We truly need a large early sedan like yours in the Carolina Jaguar Club. We just had another annual concours last weekend, and once again no sedans like yours.
Please send me your eml address so we can send you the membership info and get you into a great bunch of Jaguar helpers.
