There were 21 magnificent E-Types in the 50th Anniversary class at The Quail Motorsports Event in Carmel Valley, California on Friday, August 19. I'm honored that my car (875045) was selected by the other owners to represent the class in the Circle of Champions. The distinguished gentleman standing in front of the car is Kjell Kvalle, the founder of British Motor Car Distributors of San Francisco, who sold the car new in August of 1961.

Couldn't we have had more E's. I tried to contact anyone who knew if we could gather at Laguna, but no one knew. I even called Danny at the track (3 times) but never got a reply. HOW COULD THIS BE, They even have XK8's there- Laguna. Are there any other pictures from Quail Lodge?
