E-Type's at Laguna Seca

Last Saturday, thanks to the great work by Dick France, we had a gathering of 94 Jaguars including 58 E-Types in the Jag Corral at Laguna Seca Raceway. Not quite as huge as Silverstone but an impressive a gathering none-the-less. We had cars from San Diego, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Sacramento, Tucson, Utah, Oregon, Colorado and of course the San Francisco and Monterey areas.

The Jags made 2 parade laps in the lunch time break with much applause from the crowd.

Can anybody, who might have been in the crowd, provide any pictures of the parade laps for the JAGazette?

Any help much appreciated.

In case people are not aware

There is another Jaguar celebration this year and it is the Niello Concour at Serrano on October 2nd. There is a tour around vineyards in the Placerville area on Saturday, Oct 1st and the Concour is on the Sunday.
In the Concour there are 6 separate judged classes for E-Types.

On Sat/Sun October 15-16 The Del Mar Concour d'Elegance will be held on the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Del Mar, CA

British Sports Car Concour in Morgan Hill.

Couldn't we have had more E's. I tried to contact anyone who knew if we could gather at Laguna, but no one knew. I even called Danny at the track (3 time) but never got a reply. HOW COULD THIS BE, They even have XK8's there??

Les I do not have any still pictures of the parade lap but I took a video clip with my camera thru the fence at the hairpin that lasts about 30 sec with several cars going by. I am not very good with computers but if it sounds useful let me know where to try to e-mail and I will do my best to see if I might be able to send to you.
