Does anyone know how I can contact the Fred Lake family? I was a member of Classic Jaguar Association in mid-1980's with a 1951 XK120 Roadster and became fast friends with Fred. I lost touch after a divorce and dropped out of the club (have recently re-joined). Fred and I were going to teaqm up and restore an XK120 together and I was sorry to hear of his passing over to that big Jaguar race track in the sky. I have several pictures of Fred and I together with our cars I would like to share with his family. Can someone help me?

Thanks, Bob Sheridan

One more picture of my first XK120 chassis no 671321. I later went through a divorce and sold the car to a banker in New York in 1987 or 1986. I wonder who owns it now?

This is a picture of Fred Lake and me at the1986 CJA show in Long Beach, CA. I had just restored my light blue 1951 XK120 and received second place & 98 points at first show.

Hello Jeff, welcome, many of us would like to see some pics of Fred & Red so perhaps you could post some. Tell Margaret that we have nice memories of them both. Do you know what happened to Red?

Hi I am Fred's nephew ( actually cousinsxtimes removed but always called him uncle Fred ) His widow Margaret lives with her sister Grace in Tyler Tx . I was in the pits at Monterrey in 1980 with Fred that weekend started a life long love of sports cars ( currently an Alfa Romeo but have found a nice 97 xk8 for a good price ) I have several framed prints of Freds old red jag and his black houndstooth photo album with the snarling Jag patch on the front given to me by Margaret a few years back when she and Grace were clearing house . I had a huge collection of Photos from 1980 monterrey Historics and Pebble beach but all were lost in a fire . would love to see anything you have and would be happy to pass on to Margaret Fred was a true Character
