Good morning everyone. I hope all is well.
I just wanted to get your opinions on Insurance Companies for our Jaguars.

Can you let me know what you have found as to be the best company that gives you the best rate.

Thank you all.

It seems to me that the most important insurance is liability, not collision. A two million dollar law suit will wipe you out. Replacing your Jag would merely be painful. Also, it never pays to insure for something you can actually afford. I chose the same company that insures my family car.

I have four vehicles, 3 cars and 1 motorcycle, with Hagerty with a total guarenteed value of nearly $50K with Hagerty, and they charge me $458 per year for all of them. Never had a claim yet, but inquiries are quickly handled and followed up on. My experiences with them have been great and they are car people who make it their business to insure cars, not the other way around. Online tools are great, and it is easy to get a human on the phone when you have a unique situation.

They are a sponsor to JCNA and have sponsored many fine events for our members, so I recommend Hagerty.

A lot will depend on how you use the car. Most companies will not write physical damage (comprehensive and collision) on older vehicles. If you are using the vehicle for shows, parades, "Sunday" drives, etc. and not for regular use, then you should check J. C. Taylor or Haggerty. I believe Progressive is also offering classic car coverage now. Deal with an agent, so you can have a clear understanding of the coverage terms. I would hate to have a crash and be surprised by the claims representative that you are not covered!
