my cruise control was intermittant for a few days, and now, kaput! As it did not stop functioning all at once, which would normally indicate an electrical malfunction, is there a variable element that could be the culprit? Thanks, Ali King

HI Steve: well, it's just like taking your car to a mechanic for repair, but the problem will not replicate then! The cruise control has performed in a fine manner since my last post. I am sure it will happen again, and then will do some troubleshooting. thanks again, Ali

just read a bit of the repair manual, and am now aware of the extent of the design of a cruise control system, and that I will need a jaguar mechanic to help, as it is beyond my ability to trouble shoot the system's intracacies. change a tire or replace a relay, ok, but not likely with this system. I will do whatever I can, perhaps abel to id the trouble. will keep this thread informed as to my progress. Ali
