My speedo doesn't work since I bought the car several years ago. Am I correct that it is driven by a sensor at left rear wheel? Doesn't seem to run off transmission.

Thank you Jim. Guessing my speed based on RPMs is less than precise, although lack of odo does keep the miles from accumulating...

The sensor is attached to the differential which is usually referred to as the "Final Drive" on these cats.
