I just came into possession of my dad's 1967 roadster. (I've dreamed of having this car since I was 5 years old, so it's a dream come true for me.) It has been sitting covered in the garage for about 28 years, after he crashed the car around 1985. The left side door is damaged beyond repair & I need another to replace it. Also need to find a shop that can check the body & frame for proper alignment. And has the jigs to pull or straighten the tub (body) & frame if it needs it.
Thanks so much for help anyone can give,
sam

P.S.(Hope this is the right place to post this. I apologize if it's not.)

I have a complete series 1 roadster, drivers door with the interior glass. I also have a damaged, but repairable, series 1, roadster door. Also, a series 1 dash cluster complete with guages - all from a 1963 Etype roadster. Steve - regestataol.com

Sam,
Welcome, as a new dream come true Jaguar owner! We're seeing the gifting of Jags from father to son quite often lately. I've had my E for 42 years and guess where it goes after me!

What ever shop is recommended to you, ( I have none), check them out thoroughly. Ask for and speak to references, and be sure they can do it RIGHT! Don't be bashful about transporting the car some distance to take it to the best place possible. There are shops that do things pretty but not correctly. Doing it twice is so much worse than taking more time and maybe paying more the first time to get it done right !
