My 1970 S2 is missing the metal breather pipe connecting the hose from the charcoal container to the hose on the breather. SNG B does not have this in stock and I was considering fabricating or adapting a tube.

Can someone kindly provide dimensions and specifications?

Many thanks,

Raj

Thank you George. I am aware that I need the clips. The problem is where do I find the breather pipe and the clips?

I suppose the parts manual will indicate what I need - but that I know.

Or, are you saying that the parts manual will give me detailed specifications so I can have the parts fabricated?

Thanks for your help.

Raj I suggest you purchase a copy of the "Illustrated Series 2 Parts Manual" in the Shopp. As the titls suggests one of our members put a ton of time into providing what the factory did not. You will need a pipe as well as the special clips to hold the pipe and the plumbing to get the pipe connected with your carbon cannister. Any tube you adapt must be able to stand the exhaust heat--Jaguar thought that was steel.
