a couple quick questions. if we are going to change the bushings on the lower wishbone, would it automatically follow that we should change the bushings for the upper wishbone, at the same time? i want to pre-order as many parts as possible, so the car is not sitting at the shop forever. are there other parts i should order at the same time?
we are doing right (passenger) side, since the left seems to have been done previously

changing lower wishbone bushings
Many would say that parts with service life left in them should be kept in use until they actually need replacing. Perfectly reasonable. Plus, there's no direct labor over-lap in replacing the uppers versus the lowers.
On the other hand the uppers are very easy to replace compared to the lowers, and not expensive....so, if in doubt, change 'em out ! If they look rotten and/or the shaft is no longer concentric in the bushing, they need to be replaced.
If the ball joints or tie rod ends are worn, now is the time to replace 'em.
Cheers

ball joints and rod ends look ok. i will be changing shocks. original? ir are there really good aftermarket shocks.
by the way, thanks for your help
