Hello everyone. I am about 3/4 way through a full body off restoration of my 1952 XK120 and need to know which type of hose clamps to use?
I was under the impression that I needed Cheney clamps for my XK120 and was ordering them from Bill Tracy. Bill emailed me back and said the Cheney clamps were not used until the XK140. Bill advised me to use TEX clamps for the upper radiator hose. I have a bunch of Jubilee clamps I bought last year on eBay. Are Jubilee clamps okay to use for XK120?
Can someone who KNOWS please tell me what quantities / sizes / brands are correct for a 1952 XK120?
If anyone needs Cheney clamps, Bill Tracy Jaguar has about 10,000 on hand in various sizes for $10 each.
