According to Tom Haddock, "[T]he sedan-type kit was likely delivered with only a handful of early cars." Counting thumbs, this would be five or less.

David I am afraid you are aware of a myth. Some pre-production E types had a MK2 type tool box but production cars had the roll as found in the factory parts catalog.
Ron, the key word in that sentence is "likely".
