i was informed that the head gasket is leaking on my 1995 roadster, the car has 96,000 miles
I don't know if I should repair or sell car. If I repair should I let dealer do it or find a local service center. BTW, I'm in Sarasota, fL in case anyone knows of a good mechanic.
Thanks, herb

George Dick looked at the great pyramids and said "that is a bit of work". 40 hours with all else that I am sure you did sounds 'bout' right. It is a CHORE!

Dick, that is an understatement for sure ;-). When I had to do it on my V12 I think that it was almost 40 hours of labor alone...

A lot depends on if it is a 6 cylinder or a V12. 6 cylinder cars are not that bad to change a head gasket, the V12 a bit more involved.
