I have a 1966 series 1 XKE that has tired seats. I am considering modern seats that have a headrest. I know that changing the seats is not "correct" but this is not a concours car. Does anyone have experience with a suitable seat vendor?

Go to the E-type UK forum and search for Mazda MX5 seats (what they call the Miata in Europe). Many have fitted those seats with success and you can have them trimmed like E-type 3.8 or 4.2-style seats with/without headrests. They are too high for me but quite a few people are using them. There are different versions - all is revealed on there.
