Gotten spoiled by halogen headlights on my 'regular' car and want to install the Hella upgrade on the E. Any advice/suggestions on best way to install these? Relay needed? I do have a Bentley workshop manual with all electrical diagrams. Lots of experience with OBCs (62 MGA, 67 TR4A, 74 Midget, 74 Spitfire, 74 TR6) and their electrical hissies.

Help with 69 E headlight upgrade
Im back after MANY years......start with the basic halogen replacements, the difference will be night and day and they just swap out without ANY modifications....
Im prepping my 70 etype coupe for 8,000 miles of driving in the next 4 weeks............
N.Y. to Indy500, to colorado, to Texas back to florida, up to new york, just as a warmup....DRIVE ON!

So far as I remember, I just plugged them in and they worked. S1 roadster, Have had them in there 8 - 10 years.
