I am adding fog lights to 140 OTS and a MkII
and having problem connecting new 4 pole switch...I assume that when switched to F position both all lights illuminated...HS and Fog

Cannot make it work and am following wiring diagram in appropriate Jag Service manuals
Can someone advise by wire colors etc

Hi Curt,
Is you switch a PRS-5 ? The fog lamps are connected to the sw. @ term. #11 with a RED/YELLOW wire, to fuse box SF4, fuse #4, through the fuse to the fog lamps. Photo of the sw. is enclosed. R/Y lead is @ 7:00 position.

Curt the way they work is when the fog lamps are selected the mains go off---running lampsstay on. For fog lamps to work correctly the mains must be off.
