Own version, I did that over 20 years ago.......
They fit exactly where the jag originals fit. People forget BLG was broke and run down to the ground.
They used parts to match all other cars....
For people who dont know...
The Lotus tail light is the exact to our series 2 but have THE REVERSE LIGHT built into the lense,,,,,No need for the 2 little square lites...
I love it, could never really swallow the rear of the series 2 .
Between that , cutting the rear liscense plate bracket, tucking up the plate I was able to run series one pipes.....It looks sweet....
I do love the series 2 though over all for better brakes and all that....
Pete enjoy...

I didn't look at the back. When did you fit the Lotus lights? I did it a few years ago on one of mine and brought some others over with me.

Was it a Wahlsin light kit or your own version?

Pete, the weather ws worth it alone...Yes the willow/jade green series2 with the covered headlights was me.....
I forgot these cars have been going into hiding, I had people asking questions all day.
Funny how time goes bye and you forget all the little mods......
Did you see the rear end treatment with the lotus elan tail lights.......built in reverse too...

I was there yesterday (Friday) in a silver S2 FHC with for sale sign in the window. Saw a dark colored S3 and silver 2+2 and a couple of liight green E-types in the parking lot one of which had some tasteful mods.

The only Jag in the entire British part of the show was a lone XK8. Bought a fan motor to fix the S2 and a few bits and pieces but probably won't go again as it was nearly all MG and Triumph or BMC stuff . Very little good Jag stuff. Maybe Sat/Sun are busier with more vendors? Highlight was meeting Fred Hammond of Jaguar rummaging around same as meamongst the used parts.

Carlisle was great, small but nice things offered and alot of old friends to meet along the way......
Well , I averaged 28.6 miles to the gallon...I ran 4 hours straight each way without stopping The round trip was a couple of miles below 500......did it all in a 24 hour period.
I ran a couple of spirts around 90 mph, mostly sat at 70/80 for the most part.......
New tires are on the way.........Michelins this time with a modern twist........
Over 25 years with this car, its the only one I cant sell.......

A friend of mine has vendor spaces there and I stay with him. I once brought 2 dozen well used Jag wire wheels and gave them away. There's a nice gathering of show cars, too.
