Does anyone know where I can purchase a new Fuel Pick-Up screen/filter - the one inside the fuel tank, down in the sump, at the end of the fuel pick-up line, not the fuel filter cartrage. Mine has fallen off of the fuel pick-up line and will not stay on when I push it back onto the pick-up line. I have tried SNG Barrat, Welsh & XKS Unlimited. Thanks in advance!

The modern filters are readily available from all of the normal sources, The idea behind the tank sump was that they could be removed for cleaning. Very few people did so and so many cars today still have the original wire mesh ones. I would not ignore them, even if the tank is replaced. As for falling off the pipe, if you place the filter on the tube then offer up the sump, the sump will hold it in place. remember DO NOT lubricate the sealing washer.

Len is right, I just completely replaced my tank and didn't even put the screen, IMO, they will fill up with crud because the new gas is eating up the tank, lines and all if not used constantly. Instead I put inlines before the pump. We have seen screens gooed up within months if the tank is not cleaned out or replaced with the new materials. The old tanks weren't coated for the ethanol and rust particles eat away floating to the screen.
Good Luck.

Go to your neaest paint store where professional painter go. I got a couple that they use on the end of a paint sprayer pickup tube. Fits perfectly and mine have stayed on.

I also cut off 2" of the pickup tube so it does not go into the sump. Keeps it from picking up so much crud.
