Who has the experience and quality standards in the DC Metro area to trust my engine to? I need to redo the crank journals, line bore, resleeve or bore the cylinders for the bottom end. Also need to replace valve seats and valve guides. I used a "normal" shop on another engine in the past and they did not understand the tolerances on the head and bungled the job. Engine is a 4.2 XK circa 1975.

Thanks

For machining work on Jag XK engines in DC, try Roy Chambers, Capitol Heights, or his son Jeff. 301 350 8408. He used to have the fastest Jag XK-powered dragster 40+ years ago.
