I am looking for a Jaguar e-type mechanic/tech or service facility in the Charlotte, NC (Lake Norman) area to help work on Jaguar E-types. Looking for someone who is reliable, knowledgeable and reasonable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Call Dennis at V-12 Motorsports. They are in Indian Trail area. They have done lots of work for me over the years and are very good. They know Jags very well, especially E-types.

Would highly recommend Foreign Accents in Greensboro 336-852-4952 talk to Chris Bechard he takes care of many Jaguars from E Types, XK120/140/150/ on up through all the Sedans. He takes care of my 2 XJ40s and X308 XJR. Randy & Scott Beeninga are the shop owners and have been for over 30 years. They have just finished an E-Type series 3 V12 total engine rebuild and an XJS AUTOMATIC TO MANUAL conversion

There are a number of jag shops in NC, the closest ones are Foreign Accents and McKenzies' in Burlington 336 229 1661. Call your local club and get as many references as you can, or go to one of their meets and sign up. Bill

Chris Bouchard at Foreign Accents on the west side of Greensboro is a Jaguar pro, having owned a Jaguar shop and a nice E-Type. Very good guy. I'm sure you can get all the contact info from, their web site. He would be good for general mechanical repair and such, not for restoration work, especially body work.

Not exactly in the Charlotte area, but not *horribly* far away, either, is Mike Alexander in Richmond, VA. I'm told by the Richmond Brit Car Club folks that he is extraordinarily knowledgeable in E-Types, having restored dozens of them. His number is 804.212.4060.
