This past summer I saw a XKE coupe or 2+2 that had chrome trim strips mounted to the boot floor running fore and aft. Were these OEM and where can they be obtained?

Joe; I have a 1970 2+2 that I am restoring. The boot floor does have chrome strips with rubber inserts, they are not 'solid' chrome. New rubber is sold by the foot and new metal strips are also available. I bought my rubber and the one replacement chrome strip that I needed from SNG. I am sure all the usual suppliers will have them or can get them. Joel.
They were there from the factory. Check out numbers BD29248, BD29249, RT1023 from SNG Barratt or other retailers.
