GTJOEY, is asking all the drivers out there what do you think.
Have had koni's all round with mild gas set up for shocks, not the racing just the mild original replacements for a tighter ride.
Now with the new Michelin defenders and Im a half century old. One of my counterparts my age went back to old fashion oil filled shocks, BOY was it REALLY smooth and soft.
Ive put 30,000 miles on the Konis, anyone else go back to old school?
Thoughts?

The verdict is in BOGE PART # 26258G.....are GREAT!
Absorbs a lot of shunting from pot holes...... If anyone still drives their etype, they are a wonderful addition. Combines with the NEW MICHELIN DEFENDER tires, the car is really something else.
All these little upgrades keeps the looks without the harse ride.
Good luck.

I had been warned not to use Koni's as too harsh (maybe that was the racing style) so I went with GAZ adjustable all round, plus spring adjustable on the rear to replace the oil shocks. After experimenting with different adjustments I am now 110% satisfied with the ride. Even my wife admits the ride is is very comfortable after a 275 mile trip to Houston and back. Who'd of thought?
