Someone needs to put a fix on this before we all exit to more useful site. I started a new subject "1971 Ser II FHC Mystery Part #8 and got a response (that worked). The thread listing never indicated that I had received anything, just my original title. I had to click on my listing to find the reply. I then decided to reply to the reply and included a picture on another "Mystery Part". It published, but again, no indication that there had been any activity with my thread... only the simple (useless), original listing title.

The thread activity MUST be listed on the main thread page in order for this system to be of use. It must show
1. the number of postings against the thread and
2. the date of the last one...
so we can be sure we've either seen, or not seen, activity against the thread.

Another comment. Has anyone read an official statement from JCNA regarding the current fiasco and what they plan to do to remedy it. The first thing they can do is make it easy to send a reply. I never heard of reCAPTCHA and had no idea how to send a reply. There should be a immediate clarification of how to complete the reply process, by changing "Save" to "SEND" and an instruction inside the reCAPTCH icon from "Type the text" to "Type the characters above, in this box", then hit SEND. If there isn't enough room, put the instructions outside and above the reCAPTCHA icon.

All I can do is to suggest you read the 1st two paragraphs of my original text and realize that without these ingredients, what we have is a compass without a needle. We're just guessing what's behind the main title of each main header and instead thinking there are some meaty morsels from members that we can enjoy, what we might find is a dog and a hydrant.
