I am considering installing a power steering system into the car. The Guy Broad system requires an alternator and therefore conversion to negative ground. Does anyone have experience with either a power steering installation or with the electrical/gauge changes necessary to switch to an alternator? I really don't want to have to alter every circuit. Thanks

Re.: XK 150 power steering conversion
Ray's already got that covered. I'm sure the E-Type instructions would apply:

Great job Mike, how about an artical on how to convert from generator to alternator when you get time.

For electrical polarity conversion go to: http://www.minimania.com/MM/Electrical_polarity_81.htm
Its very easy, I did this on a bug-eye and I understand the electrics are very similar on the XK's.
