My father recently passed away and my family and I are in the process of cleaning out the garage. In the garage is a 1963 E-Type Coupe that has been there since 1979 when it was in an accident. I know that my father parted out another car with another E-Type owner and all the parts should be in the garage to build a complete car.

Both engine subframes were bent in the accident. The right subframe has been replaced, but the left one has not been touched. The car is currently on jack stands and has the bonnet, front subframe, and front suspension removed. Body work also needs to be down on some portions of the rear. To me it also appears that the car was restored once in the 70's. There seems to be some bondo on portions of the car.

Anybody know of a salvage yard in the DC metro area that would want it? Anybody out there that would like to take this off my hands?

Hi,

I am from the DC area, own a 1983 XJ6 which I am trying to sell (only $2995 by the way- 135K miles) & was Service & Parts Director of Rosenthal Jaguar. Try Brandywine over in PG County or Banks down in Lorton/Woodbridge area. You might consider just selling the Parts (as I am) or even donating for a considerable tax deduction (always take the highest legitimate, verifiable market value on 1040 Schedule A- I am now an Accountant).
