My 1997 XJ6 has a tendency to tramline or wander around at speed, especially if the road surface has any grooving in it. I have checked tire pressures to be ok. Are there other issues with the front suspension or steering on this model that I should be aware of? It has 77k miles on it.

my 1984 XJ6 had the same problem and it got cured with John's Cars Polyurethane Rack Bushing kit. call them and see if they have a kit for your '97. Another problem that causes tramlining is fat tires on the
front, but I think Jaguar cars are particularly susceptible, because my work vehicle, a Ford Aerostar, does not do it while driving on the same stretch of road. Suspension Geometry ? I don't know. Maybe Jaguars are wider.
