: In 2002,the AGM will be in Kansas. If you had a choice, considering

: those that have families that could be sold as a family vacation

: besides the show, where do you think would be a good location?

I think the board should seriously consider the Moody Gardens Resort in Galveston, Texas. There is plenty for the kids to do...3 giant pyramids; one with an aquarium, the 2nd is a rain forest, and the 3rd is a discovery museum. 3-D IMAX as well. The resort is not high priced, and the accomodations and decor are very impressive. Plenty of room and support facilities for a large general meeting in a relaxed atmosphere.

Nearby is the historic "Strand" district full of old time shops, and the tall sailing ship, the "Melissa" is berthed there. The Houston Space Center is nearby as well as NASA.

The Nat'l Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) is having their National meet there in a few weeks. They taken the entire convention floor for the cars and booths.

The Jaguar Club of Houston is hosting our 23rd concours d'elegance there on Nov. 3rd, though we will be using a fourth of the outside parking area for our show...not in the convention center. They do have underground parking in case of rain.

For more info, go to the following site:

The Houston Club would be more than happy to co-ordinate the meeting. There will be 2 major Jaguar Dealers in Houston at that time as well.

Just a quick note to gauge problems. The oil pressure gauge in my S-1 E-type never registered properly. I ordered one from the JEC in England. They have had them done from them and it works perfectly. It came with the gauge and sending unit and I've had no problems since.
