Recently to finish replacing hose clamps on the 61 , I had purchased a clamp kit from sg barrett last year , they were the cheney clamps , I tried to reorder and all clamps are now jubilee any ideas on a source for the cheney clamps

I can't believe you were abe to buy new Cheney's last year - did they really say Cheney? The Cheney well is drying up fast - visit your local Jaguar or English car recycler (junk yard) - I was able to get 6 off an old Mark - well it's hard to say what it was with most of it gone - last November while helping a friend wrestle a front seat out of a Rover 2000 TC, through the broken rear window 'cause the doors were rusted shut. Try to find them with lots of grease still on them - lest they be too rusted to restore. You might have to have them cadmium plated - don't try the bead blast and chrome trick on things that bend - chrome is not flexible like cadmium or zinc.
