I am looking for the side marker light bulb sockets.The unit's are mounted but NO lights,nor are there holes drilled in body for the placement of the item. Did they come fitted or NOT. It would appear not fitted. Any help on the subject. Please would be great.

I also have a 69 2+2. That configuration is correct. They were just side markers/reflectors. No bulbs there.

As absurd as it may seem, your car is exactly correct. The side markers are just used as reflectors.
Odd.... mine light up...
