So let's try to share our knowledge and experiences in a positive and constructive environment, keep the disagreements respectful (remembering that there is often more than one means to an end), and let's enjoy the heck out of our cars!

WELL SAID>>>> Now mind helping me rewire my E-type??? :-)

Bravo, Jason. I'm sorry to hear about your getting booted from J-L, but I agree that there is no reason why this forum can't be an active place for Jag enthusiasts to share information as well.

I do disagree, respectfully, with my good friend Warren. JCNA is not only about concours anymore. There are a lot of us who are active in JCNA at the local, regional and national level who are NOT concours people at heart. I don't own a concours car. I own a couple of good drivers. And that's what I enjoy doing -- driving -- whenever and wherever I can. Slaloms, track, rallys, tours, any excuse to get behind the wheel.

And I also enjoy working on my own cars. So having a source for input from other Jag-loving enthusiasts is important to me. Information is power. And the more information I've gotten, the more powerful I have become about working on my own cars, enjoying the thrill of taking things apart and putting them back together better than they were before.

So let's try to share our knowledge and experiences in a positive and constructive environment, keep the disagreements respectful (remembering that there is often more than one means to an end), and let's enjoy the heck out of our cars!

Warren... It doesnt have to be dead around here... Jag-lovers is not the answer I am afraid. I grew tired of the BS over there and refuse to put up with George's crap so I helped myself get booted off the site. Funny thing, my stress level has come down and now I find more useful things to do with my time then screw with them.. Feel Free to quote me on this one :-) Time to make this a happening place to discuss cars. I dont believe this place is totally about concours, Looking thru the old posts, people here need help to real questions just the same as at JL. And the best part, Admins here dont breathe down your throat and they value people as human beings with opinions. Now go get your friends..
Best wishes... Jason

Jason,

You'll find most of us and our E-Type owning friends over at www.jag-lovers.org where the Forums are much more active, and attract mostly guys (and a few gals) who are hands-on with their cars. JCNA, for all its good points, tends to be more concours oriented. Although I check in at both Forums, I find that you could fall asleep waiting for action on the JCNA E-Type Forum, whereas at Jag-Lovers there are literally hundreds of posts each week! And a very interesting and colorful group of people into the bargain. Check it out!
