Am having same problem as Jane Davies concerning XJS rear windows not rolling up. How do I remove the panels covering the window motors without damaging them ??????

ItÆs not hard, simply pull them forward from the back end. They will ttend to ôtiltö forward. When you replace the panels, note the plastic locating rivets & try to align them as you tilt the panel back in.(By the way, mine windows have been fine since I made the fix aprox. four years ago.)
