I recently added a 1961 flat floor, side latch E-type to my garage. It has a bottle jack, but I do not know where this goes in the car. I found some mention of it "clipping" to the floor in the trunk, but I might not have those clips. Does anyone have an image to share?

Also, is there a place for the T-handle wrench for opening the bonnet?

Thanks for any help.
Marc

Not sure if might be any pics of what you all are after but in the past I have browsed thru the pics posted on xkedata.com to look at things on cars built around the same time as mine. They have lots of sort options for both cars and photos. You can pull up thumbnail photos 100 at a time. I think it is a neat resource

Marc the rod for the Shelley jack was clipped to the support fail in the boot--under the tire (tyre). As to the storage of the jack and "T" handle there is a great description of that situation in Haddock's book. Afraid most of his ref. are by Vin so perhaps a copy of his book is in order--it is in the shoppe. The shoppe is also the only place that a copy of the early E-Type IPL and service book may be purchased. (IPL=Interim Parts List from April 1961--)
