I need to polish out minor scratches in the trim pieces surrounding the windshield on my 1995 XJS. Someone told me they are stainless steel, not chrome. Can anyone confirm this? I am afraid to be too aggressive if they are chrome as it might be possible to polish through the chrome plating. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
