I don't need or want any names, but is anyone aware of a JCNA membership being removed?
If so, how was this accomplished?
Thanx,

I know of one instance of this happening. A lot of the current rules about who can show a car came about because of this person. Since you do not want names the way they were barred was by act of JCNA. The acts were outragious and were treated so. George Camp

The by-laws of JCNA and the JCNA corporate policies allow the Board of Directors to revoke a membership. Any member who is subject to such action is entitled to request a hearing before a three member tribunal of the Board prior to final Board action. The tribunal makes a recommendation after the hearing to the Board, and a final decision must be voted on by the entire Board.

Local clubs may or may not have procedures for removal of a member from their local club, depending on their club's local by-laws. However, JCNA does allow "members at large" who are not affiliated with a local club. Revocation of a local membership would not necessarily result in loss of JCNA membership, unless the basis for the local club's action would also warrant revocation action by the JCNA Board.

My reading of the rules. YMMV.
