I'll greatfully take any suggestions I can get. This is wierd. I first heard this at about 5mph - it sounds like I have a bird caught on the side of my car. I have since narrowed it down - it is coming from the right side of my car, tends to happen when the weight shifts off the right rear wheel (back to front, right to left, especially likely to happen when both occur simultaneously). If I had a servo or a vacuum controlled device back there I would suspect that. It has nothing to do with the brakes or the antennna. If you were to walk up to one of the the gas cap covers and press down on it, then let it release (while latched) you will hear a very similar noise, but the one I concerned with is much louder, though nearly identical (guess I just described rubber rubbing on metal). The right gas tank is dry, I pulled the wheel off last night, all looks Ok, nothing seems to be rubbing. The noise is intermitent, and never lasts for more than a "chirp," even under the weight shift I described above. It does not appear to be speed sensitive (neither gets louder nor more frequent at faster speeds). Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
