I have access to a manifold and linkage to mount triple Weber carbs on my 1970 Series II coupe. I also have access to three Weber 45DCOE carbs that were used on another application. The engine is close to stock. The head was been ported and milled a small amount during the overhaul process. The bores are standard. Ditto for the camshafts. Does anyone have specifications for the jet and choke tube sizes that would be appropriate for this setup?

Thanks!!!

Hi Joel,
The following are some numbers that work for me for the 3.8 or 4.2 street application. Also I've listed the 3.8 race set up that seemed to work well.
Every engine will require it's own set up which can only be done on the engine and at the track or on the road doing plug cut's. All are affected by the cam design, head flow, valve size, compression ration, ignition system and timing exhaust system....but this should provide you with a starting point.

Application 3.8 & 4.2 (street) 3.8 (racing)
Main Jet_________1.65________________________1.85
Emulsion tube______F2_________________________F11
Air Correction___1.90________________________2.00
Idle (slow run)___.65_________________________.60
Accel Pump________.50_________________________.45
Choke______________38__________________________36

Good luck with your project.

Mike Leicester
