I forgot to mention in my last thread that when I go over a "speed bump" or other large bump, it feels as if the rear suspention or differential is moving "up and down" with a rather large "thunk". Could this also be a mount issue? The rear shocks are fine and are NOT leaking.

Thanks,
Peter

Take a look at the rear sway bar bushings. The drop link bushings in the rear tend to become separated, and the D bushings can become soft. This can allow the bar to rap against the body on a hard bump.

Peter,

Take a look at the radius arm bushings, where the radius arms attach to the body. There is a safety tab that is wired on to prevent the radius arm from swinging free is the bushing let's go. If the bushing has failed and the radius arm is being held only by the safety tab and wire, I'd suggest not driving it. Also look at the rear suspension mounts and shocks and springs. Just because they are not leaking doesn't mean they are necessarily okay. Also check the universals between the brakes and wheels.
