I have a 71 XKE roadster that I put in storage in 1979. It is solid and has about 36,000 miles, but needs restoration. Would like to find reasonable, reliable restorer in Richmond or Norfolk, VA area. Will ship elsewhere if necessary.

Thanks for any help offered.

Hi members I have just registered, I have a 1969 E-type FHC 4.2 2+2. I recently purchased new ball joints and track-rod ends. However, the boots on both ball-joints and t/rods have disintigrated even before I drove the car. I have to assume that they were "old stock" and perrished. I am sure it would be fruitless to try to have these replaced by the supplier in Texas. Can someone tell me where I can get reliable replacement boots?

I can also highly recommend a qualified and reasonable shop here in central Florida, Tsikuris Classics. 863-858-7981. Excellent work, great person, anything you need. This man knows his stuff. Just give him a call and tell him I sent ya.

I can personally recommend a good restorer in Pennsylvania -- Terry Lippincott, Lippincott's Garage, Sinking Spring, PA (near Reading) 610-678-6775. Terry just finished a restoration on a '69 E-type roadster for me, and had done a partial restoration/repair/repainting on a '72 E-type 2+2 I owned after I hit a deer. He's terrific, a great guy to deal with, gets the work done quickly (getting the work done at all sets him apart from many restoration shops), and his quality is excellent. He will do as much or as little as you want done. NAYYY, just a very happy customer. Tell him I told you to call.
